Steel 'I' beamsFrom: Fitzpatrick56@yahoo.com Category: Other/Misc Email: Fitzpatrick56@yahoo.com Remote Name: 64.136.27.227 Date: 24 Apr 2007 Time: 09:05 PM
CommentsI lost my wooden bridge in a hurricane back in 2005 and want to replace it with a steel based one. It is a 60 foot expanse and I would like to know if I can go with a 1/4 inch or should I go with a 1/2 inch X 6 inch beam? The problem being, no-one can deliver anything over 40 foot long so I would have to patch two beams together to get the length I need. Any suggestions or information as to where I can go for information pertaining to this would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Patrick James
