CommentsI had 22x33 bungalow took the roof off put 2x14 550 series tgi 22feet wide to carry 2nd floor.no load bearing walls on ground floor. I have 2 cement columns in basement carrying 4 2x8 length wise. I would like to know what size beam I could put in in place of these 4 2x8s with no columns but the with the beam sitting on the ends. Would I need it to be cambered and do I need stiffeners on side of web. Is it alright to span 33 feet with the beam
