Wall addition with a sloped ceilingFrom: mtooleyman@cox.net Category: Carpentry and Framing Email: mtooleyman@cox.net Remote Name: 68.225.254.161 Date: 19 Nov 2006 Time: 02:23 PM
CommentsI'm adding an interior wall that butts up to an existing sloped ceiling. The new wall runs perpendicular to the sloped ceiling joists. How do I tie my top plate into a ceiling that is sloped? I'm thinking I would notch the existing ceiling joists? Would this ruin the integrity of the ceiling?
