My first home construction as a DIYFrom: tjbrown@umich.edu Category: Alternative Building Techniques Email: tjbrown@umich.edu Remote Name: 69.230.60.81 Date: 18 Oct 2006 Time: 12:20 AM
CommentsMy fiancee and I are taking on the task of building our first home in Los Angeles, CA and it is a hillside lot. I want to do it as owner/builder and I want to use a panelized company for my material. I am looking to get some feedback from people who may have built in this area or at least built a hillside home and that could offer some advice. My background is limited except for the research I have done within the last month or so. I believe owner builder is the way to go. What do you all think?
