Question: We purchased a Feather River door from Home Depot and now about a year and a half later the door is warpped and is separating. How do get help to correct the problem? (Home Depot has done nothing). Thanks, Sue.

Builders Websource Answer: Feather River Doors are high quality products that should last a lifetime when properly installed and maintained. The company offers a limited lifetime warranty on their products, as well as a two-year warranty on the factory applied finish. Furthermore, Home Depot is now the exclusive distributor of these products. We suggest you contact the manufacturer directly at 1-800-375-8120 to explain your problem. You can request a local rep to visit your home and inspect the door. Home Depot also stands behind its products and is normally responsive to consumer complaints. You need to deal with someone of authority to get some answers. There's also a contact page you can visit and check the box where you have a question about the warranty at: http://www.featherriverdoors.com/about_us/contact.html

Please let us know how this works out for you.
