new home construction has crack in cinder basement wallFrom: socksplace20@yahoo.com Category: Structural Remote Name: 216.134.226.226 Date: 19 Apr 2006 Time: 12:39 PM
CommentsMy new home is being built right now 4-19-06 and 3 weeks ago I discovered 2 long cracks in my cinder block basement wall . They are within 4 &1/2 feet from being straight across from eachother & both start at the top . On one side there are 3 blocks that the crack goes down the middle of the blocks , the other side has one cracked down the middle , then the cracks continues along the seems . My builder told me he,s never seen this happen and doesn`t know what to do . So I,m hopeing you can help .
