SUBPANEL RUN FROM 200A MAIN PANELFrom: michael.negron@verizon.net Category: Electrical/Lighting Remote Name: 68.161.193.157 Date: 19 Feb 2006 Time: 11:02 AM
CommentsI have a 200 amp service panel that i wish to run a subpanel to from my partial basement.
having 5 lines(all 12-2, 20a) which need power, would a 100 amp subpanel be sufficient for this project? and what type of wire should i use to run to main panel? and lastly, does the breaker running from the main panel to the subpanel have to be the same amps?
..........................................................................
ok, one more question on another matter for good measure,
what wire and breaker should i also consider adding for the future installation of central air?
