Dear Sir: I am in the process of building a gantry crane using a 13' beam 4X4 1/4" thick web. The working length will be approx 11 feet. I have a one ton trolley and a 1350lb hoist also one ton chainfall. I am trying to find out if this beam will support the one ton load in the center of the beam with some degree of leeway. This beam is new and not warped or bent. Thank your your reply will be appreciated.
