I beam or H Beam Header?

I am looking to span my 9'W garage door, and I am looking for the appropriate beam to use... above the garage is a 1 story house, no bathrooms, plus roof weight and snow load. the flooring system I am using is 16" floor joists. The end of the floor joists will rest on the garage door headers. Options readily available to me... 6" H beam (15lbs/ft), or 8" I Beam (18lbs/ft), or should I get something else? Thank you in advance!
