3/8" Offset H-Hinge for Kitchen Cabinets - REPLACING THEM- HELPFrom: jennwalker3778@gmail.com Category: Cabinetry Remote Name: 63.113.195.2 Date: 17 Aug 2005 Time: 11:28 AM
CommentsMy husband and I are updating our kitchen bit by bit (so as we can afford it). We've taken down the lovely 1967 wallpaper with the blue strawberries and pained the walls, we've added a new fridge and mounted microwave. We are now onto the cabinets. We are planning to sand them, wash them, prime them, and stain them a dark color. We want to replace the 3/8" Offset H-Hinges that are very colonial and outdated. Can we change the hinges to something else off-set but use the same existing holes or will we need to re-drill? Or does anyone know of a 3/8" Offset H-Hinge that isn't hidious.
Thanks! - Jenn and Chris Walker
