Changing attic bracesFrom: rev.bs@juno.com Category: Carpentry and Framing Remote Name: 4.239.177.241 Date: 26 Mar 2005 Time: 08:12 PM
CommentsI have a large 2 car garage with a peaked roof (matches my cape cod house). The attic has criss-crossed 2X4s for support/bracing. I would like to make the attic into a functional room. My question: Can I replace the current bracing with partition walls (similar to upstairs in the cape)? If yes, is there a resouce that explains the process?
