Tendril removal on stucco house

I want to repaint my heavily-trowled-elastomeric-painted stucco house and have removed all of the Boston Ivy which covered it. The dried tendrils (plant "feet" with sticky pads) are not coming off with pressure washing. Is there a solvant which would work? Soap/water and Goo-Be-Gone weren't effective. Read somewhere that careful torching of the tendrils might work. TIA. The surface is in fine condition. Just want to change colors.
