brick basement leaking

We have 110 year old home with a brick foundation, no footings. it seeps water through all walls during rain, we would like to dig out the basement and make it a usable space but can't find anyone to do it. is it even possible to dig down and, can we pour a new floor and if so, how do we stop the leaking in the walls? any recommendation would be appreciated!
