Kitchen islandFrom: said4wl2004@yahoo.com Category: Select Category From List.... Remote Name: 68.211.222.186 Date: 06 Nov 2004 Time: 07:30 AM
CommentsI have taken down a none supporting wall that separated the kitchen, living, and dining areas. I am installing a Kitchen island out of several cabinets, which will include the existing sink, dishwasher, and more cabinets on the other side of the sink. I will later also want to tile. I have a wood flooring so I will have to install concrete backing boards. To allow room for the dishwasher to slide in, Can I just build up the cabinets with green plywood? Or do I have to install the flooring before the Island? How much should I allow for the build up? What do the backing board, cement and tile add up to?
In advance, I thank you for your advice.
