Re: Hardwood floor stainFrom: amfmmorrison@mchsi.com Category: Flooring Remote Name: 12.217.79.183 Date: 01 Oct 2004 Time: 12:13 PM
CommentsUse oxalic acid to remove stains from wood floors.
This is mainly for bleaching black stain caused by moisture or metal reactions. The finish has to be sanded off first so the acid can penetrate the wood. After the acid has worked the area is rinsed with a baking soda solution.
