Building a home on a site with a high water tableFrom: g_gormley@yahoo.com Category: Drainage/Waterproofing Remote Name: 69.34.160.245 Date: 04 Sep 2004 Time: 10:09 PM
CommentsI am considering buying land that has a high seasonal water table. I've been told the water table is at 2 feet. This would require a raised mound septic system. I have been told to not purchase this property as people are sure that once the septic is dug, it will fill up with water, the permit will be pulled and the lot deemed unbuildable....is this true. HELP please. Thanks!
