Hi, I'm in the process of buying a home that was built in 1947 which has a range of -1/2 to -3 inches of settling. I need to know: 1. how much would it cost to level the beams (house is 1487 sq.ft.); got an estimate of $2000. 2. how would levelling affect the pipes/water supply? Thank you very much.
