Ok. I have rotted floors in my bathroom from the toilet. How extensively do I have to remove all rotted wood. The reason I ask is that the toilet was in the corner so damage has gone beyond the dry walls into adjacent closet and bedroom. The joist is semi rotted. Should this be cut out? Then sistered? The 2x4's along floor have partially rotted away. This is extensive.Should i remove dry wall 6-10" up from floor? I can do it. I just need to make sure I'm not going overboard. We plan on selling the house within the year. Thanks
