Molding Options for a shallow tray ceiling

I have a square tray ceiling in a Master Bedroom. The dimensions are 13' x 13' x 4" in a 15 x 15' room. The look currently seems unfinished. Should I : put crown molding on the interior of the tray? put base molding on the exterior of the tray? what are common options ? Best regards, Steve
