Insulate all garage walls of a new build?

I am having a new home built in Ohio and the builder only insulates the garage walls that attach to the house. Should I insulate the rest of the walls myself before they drywall the garage? I'm not sure of the pros and cons. I imagine it may help energy costs slightly and it may also protect items in the garage from extreme temperatures...
