We have a house that is built over a crawl space and recent inspection revealed termite damaged rim joist an floor joists on one side of house that has drainage problem. The siding is steel and the crawl space doesn't go completely to the side of the house for access from below. We have pulled up the floor in one of the bedrooms for beter access. Question: What is the best approach to correct this problem without having the house jacked up? Is it better to go at it from inside or out? We are in the path of a commercial developement which will probably buy this property in the next few years so we mainly want to stabilize the house and make it safe until that occurs. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you. Casey from S.Dakota
