Norbord Stabledge as subfloor for strip hardwood flooring

Installation of hardwood flooring to Norbord Stabledge subfloor is problem because 2 inch staples driven with standard Bostich flooring staple gun are pulling out and not holding flooring tightly in place. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have solutions or recommendations?
