Re: Removed wallpaper from sheetrockFrom: CommentsOne thing you may consider is leaving the wallpaper in place, if the wallpaper is well attached to the drywall. Just use some drywall compound to smooth out all the imperfections in the drywall like where 2 pieces of paper meet. Then you can prime, texture and then paint. I have done both and really prefer leaving the wall paper in place if possible.
