CommentsI'm acting as Genaral Contractor owner building my home this spring. I have subed out all work except the plumbing. I have a little experiance with plumbing, installing fixtures, soldering copper, installing J-traps, working with ABS and PVC. The question, I would like to do all the rough in-wall plumbing. Would you suggest this? and if so how should I begin? Home will be 2 story 4 full baths. Is it a good ideal? I will be constructing in Hercules, California about 20 miles outside of San Francisco. My bids have been from $23,000-$30,000 for cast iron waste drains on 2nd floor. I can take my 4 weeks vacation from work to do this plumbing????
Thanks,
Terrance
