9X12 Beams

I plan on building a 24’ X 24’ one-bedroom apartment set on six concrete columns. There will be one at each of the four corners; and on the north and south sides, there will be a column set midway between the corner ones. I have free access to several 2X12X24’ construction grade yellow pine boards. My question is this: If I laminated them to form two beams 9X12X24’, would they be strong enough to support the 24’ floor trusses supporting the apartment above it? Each of the 9X12 beams would be sitting on three columns set 12’ apart, forming the east and west walls. I’d like to avoid the cost of using microllams for the beams; and I already have the 2X12’s from demolition of my carport roof. Thanks. David
