Oh, I forgot to mention that I was going to span the two sets of columns with micollam beams running parallel to the house. Then, the floor joists would span across them toward and over the house roof. Or, would it be better to run the beams toward, and cantilevered 5' over the house, and then run the floor joists paralell to the house? This would allow the floor joists to be only 23'. However, the beams would have to be quite substantial to cantilever 5', right? I don't know if any of this is possible. Anyone have any suggestions?
