floating slabFrom: vincenzo@wideopenwest.com Category: Structural Remote Name: 64.233.193.116 Date: 15 Feb 2004 Time: 10:50 PM
Commentsmy home design plans showed a structurally supported slab. the excavators screwed up and dug for a basement. the builder didn't ask if i wanted it, he filled it in with fill and poured a floating slab. it cracked in several places and he patched the cracks and says it is okay. do you think i should try to get out of the deal? i am worried the floor will only crack more and sink as time goes on. what should i do?
