Wood Fence vs Vinyl

I'm looking for an opinion as to whether we should install a white vinyl privacy fence or a wood one. We currently have a wood fence that is 5 years old and needs to be replaced. The quote we received for 150 lineal feet for wood was $1800 vs $3700 for vinyl. The quote I received for power washing and staining the existing fence was $1300. This is a home we will not live in more than 3 or 4 years and I'm not sure it makes sense to go with vinyl. On the other hand, if I have to paint the fence again just before selling the home, I may have been better off with vinyl instead. Would greatly appreciate input. Thanks!
