Irregular shaped closet door opening

My wife and I bought a home with what appears to be a closet at the bottom of a stairwell. It is not a square shaped opening though. The top of the opening is three sided (rather than just round off) and the dry wall is like a door opening the rest of the way down. Besides using hanging beads..is there a door or something that could be used in this space to "close-up" the closet?
