Laminated roof supportsFrom: derek@binarystar.co.uk Category: Roofing Remote Name: 81.96.133.202 Date: 09 Nov 2003 Time: 08:32 AM
Commentsim looking to design a new roof for my current extention project. The roof is prety tall and i was orriginally looking to use scissor trusses to give the internal impression of a low pitched roof and install some phony beams made from plained bolted together floor beams. My idea is based on this photo

But it may be that if i can get hold of someone who can supply laminated beams i could design the hole lot and save a few quid ?
Any one got some ideas or sources in the uk
Derek
