I live in a house with single paned foundation windows that measure 12 1/2" X 30 3/4". To open the window, you pull the top of the frame in towards the interior of the basement and the frame rests on metal pins at about 20 degrees from vertical. I would like to replace teh windows with a single paned frame that hase a sliding piece of glass in it. I've been to the big box stores and commercials stores. They all want to sell me a custom made vinyl replacement window. Where do I find single paned foundation windows that are installed in new construction?
