2nd floor bathtub drain drippingFrom: ourmailbox@emailaccount.com Category: Plumbing Remote Name: 68.44.120.255 Date: 16 Oct 2003 Time: 01:08 AM
CommentsHi,
I habe a 2 story house and the tub upstair has it's drain dripping. Again. I say again to begin my explaination.
About 5 months ago it dripped where the pipe connected with the tub. I had a plumber come out and fix it. It was about $350 and it still dripped. I called him several times and he kept saying it was one a problem with something else. In any event I did get him to come back out and fix it. It was fine for 5 months or so and then tonight I noticed it began to drop again. I did also notice that the plumbers putty that was on it is no longer on there. Is this a case that more putty needs to be put on or is it that it needs to be fixed again. I hate to have to call someon in and spend another $350 to fix something the first guy, I guess didn't work. Is ther an easy fix? And why would it just start to drip after 5 months. I mean it is all new pipes!
Any help is appreciated.
Jamie
