Marble Sill Install

I have a 4 1/2" deep 3/4" high 71" long marble sill to install. I have only two (2) inches of space to set the sill on (uneven wood)..What do I need to do to install the sill and what kind of adhesive would I use? Please suggest something that will really bond to the wood and the marble back.
