I have a 2 story post and beam house built in 1910. The left front corner is gone. Rotten from water and termites. There isn't even a corner post going up the wall. I have cut out the front post since it is exposed in the basement but the other side is sitting on a brick foundation so I will have to raise that corner in order to get it out. There is also a window above that section of wall. There is no bottom plate for the wall studs. Can anyone tell me the best way to jack the corner just enough to get the 6x8 beam out and replace it?
