The 10-year Structural warranty is really not worth the paper it is written on. Of course that depends on what the warranty says. If I were you, I would hire a Structural Engineer and have him prepare a report for you. Builder is sure to balk if you don't have ammo behind you. www.hadd.com has a couple of interesting articles on warranty.
