Rattling Water PipesFrom: j77hu@yahoo.com Category: Plumbing Remote Name: 206.55.13.254 Date: 28 May 2003 Time: 03:25 PM
CommentsDear BuildersTalk,
I have a 30 year old colonial house, I recently experienced loud rattling pipes coming from my 2nd floor guest bathroom. The rattling would only stop if I turned on the cold water value in the bathtub of the bathroom, however the rattling comes back after i shut off the value. Next, I shut off the main water value and drained the cold water from the house. This stopped the rattling but it has come back again today until I repeated the same steps above. Please help a novice home repair victim. Thanks Jim
