I am building a structure that has two adjacent gables. There is a dead valley created where the two gables meet. I plan on building a section of roof to cover the dead valley. My question is, at what pitch should I build the roof that covers the dead valley. The two gables are 12/12 pitch and the roof the are on is 10/12. I hope I have described this well enough for you.
