Steel beam specFrom: gbelt@dart.biz Category: Structural Remote Name: 12.31.56.204 Date: 27 May 2003 Time: 03:30 PM
CommentsThis should be easy for the right person...I have a simple addition to an existing structure. The addition measures 32x24 and will be on a full basement. My floor joists will run parallel to the 32ft wall (joists are 16+ft) and will rest on a steel beam that spans the 24ft distance. This is a single story addition with 32ft trusses. A wide open floor plan....so here's the question. What size steel beam do I need?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
