I purchased a home 1-1/2 yrs ago in a new subdivision and have begun in-ground pool installation (hole has been dug). During pool excavation, it was discovered that the builder routed a drainage pipe from neighbor's adjoining property through my yard (and pool site) out to the street. My property is in the low area of adjoining properties and backs up to golf couse all creating water drainage onto my property. Now the builder wants to reroute the neighbor's drain behind my property and exit onto the golf course property behind my yard which will create even more water draining onto my yard. What responsibility does the builder have to prevent water drainage onto my property from neighboring properties?
