Vapor Barrier/VentilationFrom: mckenzie@montana.com Category: Other/Misc Remote Name: 66.109.141.16 Date: 12 Mar 2003 Time: 11:28 AM
CommentsWe are trying to figure out if we NEED a vapor barrier on our ceiling. Its a vaulted ceiling, well ventilated, and is going to be T&G pine. The reason I ask is because I've heard moisture will actually build up between the ceiling material (Pine/sheetrock) and the plastic, then promote mold growth? I'll also mention that we are in Western MT in a semi cold climate.
Thank you
