Finishing a BasementFrom: bistrone@charter.net Category: Drainage/Waterproofing Remote Name: 192.28.2.17 Date: 21 Feb 2003 Time: 11:40 AM
CommentsDuring the spring snow thaw (large amounts of rapdily melting snow only) and heavy rains (1" + in a relatively short time period), I have water entering one corner of my basement. It looks like it is at the intersection of the block wall and the floor. I have purchased a xypex product that is supposed to interact with the concrete, penetrate and "plug" the holes thru crystalization. Will this solve my problem? And if so, how do I remove the leftover liquid nails that was used to attach the foam insulation to the walls?
