Re: stain removal on hardwood floorFrom: eli125@earthlink.net Category: Select Category From List.... Remote Name: 65.119.45.5 Date: 20 Feb 2003 Time: 03:03 PM
Commentsmy boyfriend has his own hardwood flooring company and I can tell you that if you have urine spots, you can do 2 things because I has them in my house when I first bought it, and he did 2 things. In some areas where the penetration was not as sever he was able to sand it down. Other area where stain would not come out he replaced the affected wood planks/strips. Either way you gone have to get a professional in there but the cost should not be great if you just have them take out the section affected and put in matching wood, sand and stain. If you have many urine stains all over the house you will probably have to get someone to resand the floor and apply stain to it.
