CommentsTiling over a sloping floor can be tricky. If the the slope is small, as you suggest, you can use a floor leveler prior to setting the tile. Depending on your existing surface, take a look at DAP Concrete Floor Level and admixture. Or, you can use a slightly thicker coat of thinset mortar when you lay the tile. You may need to transition to a deeper notched trowel as you work your way into the drop off. Be sure to use a level to make sure your finished flooring is set to a consistent elevation.
