Support post removalFrom: william.porter@wamu.net Category: Structural Remote Name: 12.230.216.239 Date: 16 Jan 2003 Time: 12:12 AM
CommentsI would like to remove an existing support post in my basement to allow for a larger open area. The beam that the post is supporting is 18 feet in length. My intent is to install a steel i-beam along side the existing beam with support posts at each end. Any thoughts/input appreciated.
