I am looking for information on sizing beams for a cabin foundation. The intent is to drive pilings and span with steel beams. The beams will then be spanned with TJI type trusses and the floor of and walls will be built on the resulting base. Being a mechanical guy I don't have the skill or knowledge to design the pilings and beams in a cost effective manner. Where might I find information on loading and allowable span widths for this type of situation? Thanks
