Foul water drainageFrom: dvdmayer@aol.com Category: Drainage/Waterproofing Remote Name: 195.93.33.8 Date: 23 Oct 2002 Time: 10:33 AM
CommentsI have to run a foul water drainpipe (100mm) to a septic tank through steeply sloping ground. To maintain a gradient of 1 in 40 on the horizontal runs, I shall need to include one or two steps in the total run of the pipe. What is the best angle to use to join the two levels of pipe at these steps - i.e. 90 degree, 45 degree or something shallower? And is there any limitation on the length of pipe between steps?
Thanks in anticipation,
David Mayer
