Home Settling in Center .5 - 1"From: spierce@bbtel.com Category: Foundations and Basements Remote Name: 66.38.0.15 Date: 26 Sep 2002 Time: 03:33 PM
CommentsMy home is built on a footer with a crawl space and it has settled on the center beam about .5 - 1" causing drywall cracks near my doorways and evident splitting of my tape at the ceilings. I found this when I put a level on my doorway tops and noticed the cant plus they settled. I am certain that the center of my home needs jacked just about 1" the problem is I need and want good jacks that will do the job. Do you know of a company that supplies them? It is prohibiting me from doing inside renovations like painting, drywall etc.
