Re: sagging floors in TennesseeFrom: info@builderswebsource.com Category: Flooring Remote Name: 63.198.181.43 Date: 23 Aug 2002 Time: 12:52 AM
CommentsWe don't have a specific recommendation for you in your area, however, you can start with the Yellow Pages, looking under Contractors (General). A competent, licensed general contractor can usually remedy a sagging floor by reinforcing part of the foundation or girder supports and jacking the floor back into a level condition. Depending on the cause of the sagging floor, more comprehensive work may be required, particularly if you have soil-related settling influenced by soil moisture conditions. Builders Websource.
