Re: Basement plumbing rough-in problemFrom: info@builderswebsource.com Category: Plumbing Remote Name: 63.198.181.43 Date: 29 Jul 2002 Time: 06:09 PM
CommentsA good visual description of installation an offset toilet flange is available at: http://www.hammerzone.com/archives/bath/projects/remod_w1/toilet/new_1/flange_offset.htm . However, even after contacting a local wholesale plumbing supply warehouse, we could not locate any floor offset drain for the shower. The toilet offset flange can give you up to 2" of play, typically. However, depending on whether you have ABS or cast iron plumbing, attachment can still be tricky in a slab. If we or one of our readers identify a source for an offset floor drain, we'll update this post. Builders Websource.
