painting after wallpaper removalFrom: kcarz@blitz-it.net Category: Painting and Wallcoverings Remote Name: 207.150.87.43 Date: 05 Jun 2002 Time: 11:12 PM
CommentsI am removing wallpaper that has not been sized and have tried chemicals and steaming. The drywall in my bathroom is pitted and needs to have a skim coat done to it. I have a bedroom that the vinyl top layer of wallpaper comes off good but leaves the paper back with the glue on the drywall. Can I leave this up and sand it down to the drywall and then prime and paint? Thanks
